6236 - King Kahuka, Islanders

Although King Kahuka was the smallest set in the Islander series, the compact but treasure hiding functionality of the throne made it a satisfying purchase.

This set was smallest of the Islander series, but it still had a lot going for it. Along with the King Kahuka mini fig, there is a treasure chest with gold, and two shields and spears. Although this isn't King Kahuka's official throne, it is still a nice small set, and even seems a little more 'throne like' to me.

King Kahuka

Complete with constructed scepter, made of a post, clip, horns, and blue square stud jewel (back in the golden years before they prefabbed everything).

He's really not so intimidating without the big horned mask.

The entire throne flips back to reveal where King Kahuka keeps the gold.

King Kahuka can't quite fully lean back and enjoy the comforts of his throne wearing that bulky mask. He has to sit on the formost studs, or stand, to fit on it.
