One of my co-workers, Logan Ilczyszyn, was kind enough to provide some of his animal suit mini figs for me to photograph and review. First up is the Gorilla Suit Guy! This guy may be the best of the animal suit guys, since every one loves a Gorilla suit. I remember one halloween in high school two guys dressed up, one as a gorilla and the other as a giant banana. The Gorilla proceeded to chase the screaming banana around campus for the rest of the day, interrupting classes and passing periods. The Lego gorilla guy is very well detailed. His gorilla features are well designed, but the things that really make this minifig are the details that remind you he's actually just a guy in a suit. On his back there is a zipper, and his gorilla mask has tiny eye holes that the minifig's eyes peek out of. If you take the mask off, the sweaty grimace on the minifig's face shows what it's really like to run around in a heavy, black, ape suit all day. Overall the Gorilla Suit Guy is a must have for minifig collectors. He's perfectly detailed, he's fun, and everybody loves a guy in a gorilla suit.
